Neil is the Real Deal. For those who don't know who the 'real' Neil is, you would be amazed at the depth of his sincerety. When Neil says he cares about something - he really does! Neil has extreme brain-power having achieved the highest levels of formal education and possesses an eclectic banding of knowledge that he will never brag about nor wave in someones face, this is a rare quality. Neil is truly a kind, compassionate, and selfless individual who will fight tooth and nail for the people of Hawaii. Neil believes in the people and culture of our islands and he is committed to our well-being. As a side note, I like the idea of having a Gov that can bench-press 268 lbs. |

I have known Neil since the early 1970's when he would come into my chiropractic office. I was impressed then and continued to be impressed over the years with his sincere interest and genuine concern for people no matter what their walk of life. I believe no other candidate for Governor has the experience, the know how and proven capability to do the job like Neil. He will make a great Governor. Aloha, Dennis Momyer

I am an ordained minister and a professional Hawaiian musician, composer, recording artist, two time Grammy Awards winner, a multiple Na Hoku Hanohano Awards winner, actor, and will be inducted into the Hawaiian Music Hall of Fame in September of 2009. I am greatly concerned about the ecology of Hawai'i, the management and protection of wildlife, both in the ocean and on land, a staunch supporter of Hawaiian sovereignty and Native Hawaiian rights, and those issues concerning our senior citizens in Hawai'i.
I support Neil and his campaign to become Governor of Hawai'i because he has proven that he can get the job done. By his dedication and hard work in the House of Representatives in Washington D.C, he has been a mover of many important bills affecting Hawai'i. I have written Neil many times in Washington about concerns that I have had and he has always responded to me as to where a certain bill stands and what course it may take, whether favorable or unfavorable. It is this kind of concern for his constituents is why I supported him as my Congressman and why I definitely support him as the next Governor of Hawai'i. Mahalo, Rev. Dennis Kamakahi |

I have lived in Hawaii 21 years, and am retired from the Federal Government, and currently have my own business as a Labor Arbitrator. While I was with the Federal Government I knew of Neil's commitment to helping people who were dealing with the Immigration Service, the Agency I dealt with. His office was very professional in helping those who needed to cut through the red tape. I care about our islands moving forward, not backward the way they have been going. We can't afford to be left behind.
I support Neil for a number of reasons. Number one, he was not only there for those needing help from INS, he was always there for us and helping to protect us as Federal Employees, a cause near and dear to my heart. I was humbled and very privileged when Neil took some time out of his very busy schedule to make an appearance at my retirement party. I figure if he can find time for a little guy like me, he really, really cares. I like his ideas and will do what I can do to help to move him from Washington, D.C. to Washington Place! |
