Neil is the Real Deal. For those who don't know who the 'real' Neil is, you would be amazed at the depth of his sincerety. When Neil says he cares about something - he really does! Neil has extreme brain-power having achieved the highest levels of formal education and possesses an eclectic banding of knowledge that he will never brag about nor wave in someones face, this is a rare quality. Neil is truly a kind, compassionate, and selfless individual who will fight tooth and nail for the people of Hawaii. Neil believes in the people and culture of our islands and he is committed to our well-being. As a side note, I like the idea of having a Gov that can bench-press 268 lbs. |

Gary first heard Neil speak as a freshman at the University of Hawaii. "Neil is as passionate and committed to Hawaii as he ever was. There can be no doubt, even to people who have not always agreed with his points of view and vision, that there have been few men or women with such a long and continuous desire to fight for Hawaii in the public arena. We can't ask for a more devoted advocate than Neil. After the last 8 years, we need more passion, more enthusiasm, and more optimism. We deserve a Governor of the people and for the people. I encourage everyone to hear him speak in a live forum. You'll be in for a pleasant surprise."

I have lived in Hawaii 21 years, and am retired from the Federal Government, and currently have my own business as a Labor Arbitrator. While I was with the Federal Government I knew of Neil's commitment to helping people who were dealing with the Immigration Service, the Agency I dealt with. His office was very professional in helping those who needed to cut through the red tape. I care about our islands moving forward, not backward the way they have been going. We can't afford to be left behind.
I support Neil for a number of reasons. Number one, he was not only there for those needing help from INS, he was always there for us and helping to protect us as Federal Employees, a cause near and dear to my heart. I was humbled and very privileged when Neil took some time out of his very busy schedule to make an appearance at my retirement party. I figure if he can find time for a little guy like me, he really, really cares. I like his ideas and will do what I can do to help to move him from Washington, D.C. to Washington Place! |
