Faye is a retired social worker, long time civil rights activist and sister of Flo Kennedy, the first African American woman to graduate from Columbia Law School. Faye was a staunch supporter of then-candidate Obama and worked tirelessly as a volunteer organizer for him in Hawaii. "Neil will be a governor for ALL the people. He's never been afraid to stand up to the 'Big Guys,' and you can count on him to fight for the civil and human rights of everyone, regardless of our age, ethnicity, gender or economic status. And who can forget how he supported Obama's candidacy when he was such an underdog?"
