Aloha, my name is Sean Lester and I am a 21 year resident of Kula, Maui. I worked hard on the Obama campaign and know that Neil was one of the first people to ask Barack to run for the presidency. In these uncertain times I believe a connection with the president is imperative, and he’s the only one that can offer this. Neil also has direct personal contacts with other lawmakers in the nation’s capital. Besides these points, he honestly understands the urgent need for our islands to be self sustaining. I was very impressed with his ability to listen and be honest in his interactions when I met him here on his last trip. I believe his decades of work experience along with his openness to listen will help us have a real chance of turning our economy around. We have to get this one right. That’s the reason I back Neil Abercrombie for Governor and really hope you take the chance to listen to what he has to say.
